My friend safely caught a live Solfugid in Iraq on duty one night, he managed to string it down with strands from 550 cord, and then look at it closely, we also have hi-res pictures. These are not venomous, they are harmless however have very powerful jaws. Hey pal go and see what moviekid911 has to say below,he OWNS a 3.7 ft Goliath Bird Eater Tarantula!!!is he nuts to?anyone who comes across a fully mature female Camel Spider in the late summer months back off...way off!!!this is when their poison is the most potent.The Asterisk Hunter lately reported that he personally witnessed one bite of a Camel Spider which killed a full grown male Elephant!!!

do they eat leopard geckos? thats scary to think about because i have one. and leopard geckos live in iraq and wont get bigger than any adult camel spider i think

ha these camel spiders are nuts, i found one at my aunts house and there aggressive as hell.damn things get hue too. O_o
